The South Perth House is a special project worked by Matthews McDonald Architects. This house is designed to be occupied by a couple. The house is located in Western Australia, in a narrow area that offers panoramic views of the Swan River and Perth City.
Construction of this house was built using strong and durable steel. Besides beautiful scenery, this home also offers a connection between the indoor and the outdoor space. Such features can provide flexibility when family and friends come to visit.
Construction of the buildings defined by stone walls which are an important part of the podium for the steel and glass boxes. The addition of the dividing wall is also required to complete the outdoor space.
To complete the economic side, the house is equipped with passive systems and active systems such as photovoltaic collectors, rain water harvesting, mechanical shading devices and hybrid air-conditioning system.
